Aaron Banks is a Black poet born and raised in Rochester, NY, where he lives with his wife and daughters. He received an MFA from Warren Wilson in 2022 and works at the U of R as an academic advisor for their McNair Program. He is currently seeking publication of his first poetry collection, Cottonwood Man, and is working on a new collection of poems.
